Why Britax?
Britax car seats offer the most secure fit we have ever encountered in a child safety seat. The secure fit is achieved by the use of a tether that anchors the seat in both the rear-facing and forward-facing positions, together with unique side lock-offs. Built-in styrofoam padding surrounds the baby’s head and torso for added protection. In addition, a five-point harness system provides a safe and comfortable ride for your child.
The Marathon, our most popular model, may be used in both the rear-facing and forward-facing positions. In the rear-facing position, the Marathon has a child weight range of 5 to 33 pounds. As a result, your child may ride in the rear-facing position up to 1 year of age as currently recommended. When your child reaches 1 year of age and at least 20 pounds, simply move the seat to the forward-facing position, where it has a capacity of 65 pounds or 49 inches.
